Mis Quince: Silly Faces (Layout #5)

Hola!

Layout #5: Silly Faces

My DD is a silly girl and some of the pictures from that special bday reflect it.
I wanted to make sure I captured her funny side during a hectic day.

Scrapbook kit: Studio Calico Pool Party - July 2016.
I also used the stamp set that came in the kit.
I love circles!

This is one of the clusters of embellishments,
It also shows the stamp set from the kit.
I have a few more layouts for you on this series.
I am hoping you are loving them as much as I am.

Adiós,
~~Yar

Mis Quince: The 2 of us (Layout #4)

Hola

This is the 4th layout of my DD Quinceañero.
I am using the Studio Calico Scrapbook Kit from July 2016
Pool Party.
The background paper is from Stampin' Up.

I loved the tones of lilac, peach and greens on this kit.
It was actually the first Studio Calico kit I purchased.
And I am using it for every layout of her 15th bday!

More detailed pictures here:
I used an older MFT die set t create the title.
Then I covered it with Wink of Stella & Glossy accents.
Lots of fun embellishments used on this Layout!

I hope you enjoyed it!
Adiós,
Yar

MFT Summer School 2018 - Day 5 Designing a card with Symmetry

Hola

For Day 5 I designed a card with symmetry
I wanted to show symmetry through different elements
1. the flamingoes
  2. the black and white background - above and below the flamingoes
3. the pink card base around the whole image

Items I used to create my card:
I choose my favorite coloring medium: Copic Markers :)

A close up of the coloring
Stamp sets:

Ink: Versafine black (background)
Pink paper: Stampin' Up Melon Mambo
Embossing folder: Stampin' Up

So Very Sorry: Sympathy Cards

Hola!

Nobody likes to make sympathy cards,
unfortunately this week I needed two.

I had previously created some backgrounds with Distress Oxide Inks and
decided to use some of my Background dies
for a clean look.
To step it up I did a technique from Jennifer McGuire,
using glossy accents to create a stained glass look.

Check out the stained glass look.

The stamp set I used is from Stampin Up: So very.
I also used stitched banners to create the sentiment flag.
I added a few pearls from my stash as well.

I hope you liked them, they inspire you, and may you never need them.

Happy day!
Enjoy,
~~Yar
