Today I hurry in to wish you a Happy Halloween!! 

This is the card I am giving my son to wish him a happy day!

This cute digital image is from Sasayaki Glitter!

As usual I used Copic markers to color it in:

Purples: V17,15,12

Greens: G16, 09, YG07

Oranges: E09- YG18-YG07

Yellows: Y38-Y17

Grays: W7-5-3

Copic Tutorial: Tones of GREEN

Hola!!

Todays tutorial is comprised of tones of greens!

I used the same tones of E-40 shown here to color the stem and the acorn!

So we will be coloring the leaves on the pumpkins!

Here are the four combos!

I really like the vibrancy G14 brings to this combo!

These are the olive green tones, I like how regal they look!

I hope you liked the tones of GREENS!!

Next up:  Tones of purple for the curtains and maybe a little blue!

Tropical Chick - Take 2

Hola!

For today's card I am using a digi stamp by FTHS - Tropical Chick.  

I have used this stamp once before and had a great time coloring it, 

I do love coloring that palm tree :) it reminds me of home...Puerto Rico!

Anyway, I thought I would do another card for our friend Juanito who is retiring this June!

World's Best Coffee & Challenge FTHS 157

Hola! 

For today's stamp I used a digi from From The Heart Stamps called "World's Best Coffee".  

I was just in Puerto Rico visiting my family

and my dad asked me to send him a card that was "him".  

He is an avid coffee drinker and the world's best DAD! 

So this image was perfect for him!

You see...the label on the cup has a banner with he words "World's BEST" written on them!! ;)

I used Copic Markers to color this beauty!

To cut it I used my Scan n Cut 2 machine...love it!

The circle loop die is from Stephanie Barnard's the Stamps of Life set "Friendly Phrases"

I like this little coffee cup, I have been wanting a coffee image for a while. 

I was very happy with the results!

Tropical Chick card & NEW: color tagging cards!

For today's card I am following the From the heart stamps Challenge #153  

I am, as you know, in love with her designs. This is my first bird image from her, but she has plenty!!  I decided to use this since a good friend of our family is retiring...hi Roger!!  And I will be using this card to wish him a happy retirement! 

As usual, I used Copic markers to color the digital image.  

I have written the colors below.

But first....

Whats new on my blog?  I decided to tag the Copic color combos (as the color + CC), so that if someone is looking for a specific color combo they can just click and get right to it.  

Many times, I can't even remember which colors I put together :)

I hope this new addition is something you use a lot!

This card will have a Green CC tag, meaning Green Copic Combo.

The green paper is Mossy Meadow from Stampin Up (retiring on 5/31/16 - so hurry up!) This color is perfect for the deeper greens and works well with the YG97 colors too.
