Copic Tutorial: Tones of Purple and a Blue

Hola!

Today I am coloring the curtain using tones of purple!
Yesssss!!
Here are the color combos I chose:

The V-teens are cute as well.

I love the V00's - They are happy and bright!

This one is a darker combo. That BV08 is a deep purple.

I had to try my hand at a blue - and I loved it.
This is probably my most favorite Blue combo B20's .

This was a quick and easy post,
just to compare different purples.
Hope you enjoyed it!

See you tomorrow!!

Copic Tutorial: Tones of GREEN

Hola!!
Todays tutorial is comprised of tones of greens!
I used the same tones of E-40 shown here to color the stem and the acorn!
So we will be coloring the leaves on the pumpkins!
Here are the four combos!

I really like the vibrancy G14 brings to this combo!

These are the olive green tones, I like how regal they look!

I hope you liked the tones of GREENS!!

Next up:  Tones of purple for the curtains and maybe a little blue!

Copic Tutorial: Tons of Orange

Hola!!

I am back to share with you a few color combinations
which you may find useful during this fall season!

Todays colors: ORANGE
I have three favorite colors...orange is one of them!

Here are the combos I used on my pumpkins!

This is my lightest combo.
I chose not to use a darker color like E-09 to accentuate the shadows

I wanted to try a little bit more yellow on my pumpkin.

The last two color combos look exactly the same.
I love them both.
I like the darker tones of orange with a hint of yellow.

I hope you found a combo you liked best!

Enjoy...next tones of GREEN!!

But I haven't used my Copics since June...GASP!!!

Top left: E-30s combo & Top right: E-50s combo
Bottom Left: E-20's combo & Bottom right: E-teens combo

So today, I wanted to re-aclimate myself with them
while coloring for my Card Exchange: Fall Theme

This is a four-day series, in which we will
experiment with different tones to find out
with one goes better with what.

Todays colors: BROWNS!!!
Stamp set used: SU Window on the World

First set are the E-teens!
E-teens!
The teens was an unexpected surprise -
I like the tones of red or orange coming through!

E-Twentys

E-thirtys
I have always liked the E-30's I think they look like caramel...
and there is nothing wrong with caramel!

E-fiftys

I hope you enjoyed finding out
how different these tones of Brown can be!
Which one is your favorite?

I hope you enjoyed it!

Fall Card Design 2

Hola...

This is the second card I created for my Card Group Exchange - "Fall Theme".
I used watercolor paper this time!

Background:
To create the background I started with a 5"x7" Watercolor paper.
I used watercolor markers and scribbled the markers on plastic paper
Spritzed it with water.
And brought my watercolor paper to it.
I squished my paper to ensure proper transfer  of the watercolor.

I realized I loved it so decided to split the background in half and create two cards!
Card 2 for today, same colors but slightly different. This one has less yellow, almost none.

This is the second card I made of this design. Very similar.

The Front of the card:
I am working on some wedding invitations,
and had to ensure the paper I purchased was 8.5" x 11"
So I trimmed the papers to ensure the proper dimensions.
The little papers I had left over looked like sprigs,
so I decided to use them here.
Tied them with hem and voila!

I also stamped the inside of the card!

Other goodies used:

Stamp Set: SU Truly Grateful
NUVO Drops:
Dandelion Yellow
Strawberry Coulis
Black
Paper: SU Calypso Coral
Ink: SU Crumb Cake

I hope you like it!
